Job Title: |
General
Manager-Projects
|
|
Purpose: |
To
manage existing and new initiatives and programs administered by the Fund. To facilitate the Fund define
the framework of new initiatives and programs besides
overseeing essential parameters for evaluation,
financial budgeting, execution, audit, monitoring and
metrics of success for all the projects.
|
|
Qualification: |
Master Degree in
Engineering or Management or equivalent from an HEC
recognized university with 10 years experience. PMP®
Certification, demonstrable project management
experience, and a degree in an ICT discipline would be
preferred.
|
|
Experience: |
A minimum of ten years hands-on
experience in project management of technical and/or
human resource development projects is required. Expert
knowledge of MS Project or other similar project
management software tools is required. Expertise in
designing project plans, scope, allocation of resources,
monitoring and execution would be the hallmark of this
assignment. Other areas would include communication
strategy, project procurement procedures and
coordination with various external and internal
stakeholders.

Remuneration:: |
Market
competitive salary with monetization equivalent to
1300cc car.

Job Title: |
Short Term Technical
Services Consultant |
|
Purpose: |
Services are required on part-time, hourly contract basis from
competent technical individuals to help evaluate project
outputs/outcomes and possibly transfer hardware and software IP
to the project stakeholders as decided by National ICT R&D Fund.
|

Reports to: |
General Manager
|
|
Workplace: |
National ICT R&D Fund office in Islamabad or a location
determined by the Company.
|
|
Qualification & Experience: |
Bachelors’ degree in EE, CSE, CS, or an
equivalent degree from HEC recognized local or foreign university.
Masters degree is preferred. A
minimum of five years hands-on experience in the following tools and
techniques; real-time operating systems, hardware development tools,
board bring-up and testing, FPGA implementation, software
development tools, C/C++, JAVA, dot net, mobile computing platforms,
symbian, android, etc. The desirable candidate does not need to
possess all the skills or be an expert in all areas listed above.
Ten plus years experience will be preferred.

Remuneration: |
Details of remuneration for the short
term work assignment will be decided on a case-by-case basis
depending upon educational background, expertise level, years of
relevant experience, and duration of the service required. However,
the total payment and mode would be finalized in a formal contract
and the hourly rate would be market competitive. Maximum hours for
each of the assignment would be determined on the basis of
complexity of the assignment and after mutual consultation between
the selected individual(s) and National ICT R&D Fund that would not
exceed one month (160 hours).
