National ICT R&D Fund offered fully funded scholarships for talented students from rural/non-metropolitan areas of Pakistan. The National ICT Scholarship Program 2009 (NICTSP 2009) has provided fully funded 4 year undergraduate scholarships in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) related disciplines in the Top ICT universities of Pakistan.
National ICT R&D Fund also facilitated Training of Teachers and Foundation Training for students to enhance the skills needed for attempting aptitude based university admission tests.
Students later appeared for a customized MCQ based aptitude test called "National ICT-Scholarship Award Test".
This program is run with the financial collaboration of Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) of Government of Pakistan.
National ICT R&D Fund’s objective is to develop human resource capacity in ICT fields by providing equal opportunities to the talented students of rural/non-metropolitan areas of Pakistan.
Successful candidates of National ICT Scholarship Program 2009 who have reported at their allocated universities are currently studying in their preferred disciplines.
The process of awarding this year's scholarship program has been closed and no further queries will be entertained in this regard.
