List of universities that have decided to enroll in National ICT Scholarship Program 2009 is given below:

4. University of Engineering & Technology, Taxila

5. Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro

6. Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology

7. National University of Science & Technology, Rawalpindi

8. University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore

9. University of Engineering & Technology, Peshawar

10. COMSATS Institute of Information Technology

11. Institute of Business Administration, Sukkur

12. Punjab University, Lahore

13. Bahria University

14. Foundation University, Rawalpindi

15. International Islamic University

16. Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore

17. Balochistan University of IT and Management Sciences, Quetta

The following criteria were used to select the above-mentioned universities to be included in National ICT Scholarship program for the year 2009.

1. Large public and non profit universities.

2. Should be willing to pay 20% of the total cost of each student for four years.

3. Rated highly by Higher Education Commission (HEC) in ICT related disciplines through HEC’s approved accreditation councils (NCEAC / PEC).

4. Should have adequate on-campus hostel facilities or plans to provide such facilities in near future.

5. Should be willing to participate in the design of a unified entrance test and admit students based on this unified test.

6. Should be willing to participate in formulating the students' selection criteria under the program.
